Everyone is invited to the football game Friday, Oct. 23, 2026. Kickoff is at 7:30pm. Alumni will be there after 6:30. You’ll buy your ticket at the gate (or beforehand if desired) and enter through the regular gates. Then look for the sea of yellow 01 shirts! All family and friends welcome! Concession stand available for refreshments.

The party is Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026 6pm-10pm. Hosted at Governors Gun Club just past Town Center Mall in a private event space. Navigate to: 1005 Cobb Place Blvd NW, Kennesaw, GA, 30144 then look for the blue and gold balloons.

Snacks and music 6-6:45pm. Buffet dinner is available 6:45-7:30 followed by dessert, drinks, and dancing the night away. This is not a formal dinner. Tickets include: food, 2 drink tickets, dessert, and the chance to reminisce and network with old friends. Adults only to this event. This is once in 25 years. We hope you make connections new and old.

We need more reunion social coordinators!! We’ll be sure you have all the info to reach out to your network and make sure they get tickets, they get registered, and we get to see them! Email committee@wheelerclassof2001.com or message FB admins to let them know you want to help! Texts, emails, and DMs from friends mean so much more than our bulk messages. Create the party you want to attend! 

Nope. We’ve tried to create a few opportunities with different “vibes” as our kids might say. You get to choose how you participate and what family or dates you may want to include! We are asking for you to tell us you are in for the football game to be sure we’ve got a big enough area secured at the school for hanging before or during the game. 

The volunteer classmates met for months and looked at over 30 different options within a limited radius of WHS. We were not able to find a private space that would be large enough to host our group that would be more affordable than this venue. In fact, we ruled several venues out for being even more expensive. Truthfully, having the space is the biggest cost of the event, but we’re really excited to have the chance for all of us to reconvene and spend time together. 

Every ticket includes: full buffet dinner, dessert, and bar with 2 drinks provided to every attendee. To offer a variety of entertainment, we have both a band and a DJ. We will be providing modest decor to walk down memory lane, and plan to focus the majority of the budget on great food, drink, and enjoyable space.

Very important note: no one is making any money from this event. In fact, several classmates have offered to sponsor certain expenses. There is a bank account for the event specifically and transparency about expenses, ticket revenue, and sponsor donations. After all expenses are paid, any additional proceeds will go to the school in the form of a class gift. 

We don’t want cost to be a barrier. Email committee@wheelerclassof2001.com if you need assistance (and if you are in a position to buy an additional ticket for a classmate who may need it, there’s a way to do that at checkout). 

The venue is a beautiful, welcoming environment with separate event entrances; prior WHS reunions have been hosted here. 

In full transparency, the club’s indoor gun range will be open until 8pm, but should not be audible from the event space or the corridors and bathrooms. You should also not be interacting with members of the club. We want every attendee to feel safe, so if there is a specific concern, please reach out to committee@wheelerclassof2001.com.  

We have selected a Fajita Buffet so that you can choose between steak, chicken or meatless, select the veggies and toppings you (and your guest) want. There will also be dessert available throughout the night. 

Save your GLP shot for Sunday the week of the reunion, you will want to be hungry!

There is no dress code for the venue. Wear what you feel good in and what makes you feel comfortable.

If you want some guidance, though, we would recommend dressy casual or cocktail attire. We want to share time with classmates and reconnect. What you are wearing is the least important thing about the night!

We completely understand. Please email committee@wheelerclassof2001.com and let us know your status  that you intend on buying a ticket before October 11th! This greatly helps on planning purposes as we get closer to the event! Please be aware, we will not be selling tickets at the door! Last day to buy tickets will be on Sunday October 11. This is to allow for the venue to make sure they can purchase what they need to have enough food for everyone!
